Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

My neighbor got upset when I said I was putting up a fence. Those things is whay I am trying to deter with a fence. I do have cameras all the way around and they do record, so I can always give that to police if needed. I am so sorry you are going through that RaZ.

Yes, I am pretty sure they Dept of Agr. will say something about poultry stuff as well as shows. But like SallyPB said, We still should get together!

They opened the garage door to take it?
Time to start locking up.
No. I went into the garage from the side door and when I opened the big door from inside, I saw the problem. Everything else was secure.
My trail camera batteries were dead so I don't get the video. Time for new batteries and a couple of hard wired cameras.

My post on the local FB page had a few people reply with a possible suspect. They are going to contact the sheriff with their opinions.

On the upside, several non-locals have asked me to keep an eye on their 2nd homes up here. The increase in neighbor awareness is a good thing. Plus I got to meet a few more neighbors. At least on FB for now.

I have a neighbor like that. Her property abuts mine. Two years ago she went wiggy on me and had a land survey done. She raised a fuss and I had to take down a bird house that was on "her" tree. I took it down and then put up a fence on my side of the property line. That made her even madder. She routinely has her grandkids come and knock it down. I keep putting it back up just to aggravate her.
We used to be friends but that stopped when I stopped plowing her driveway for free.

You come to my property and put up as many bird houses as you want.

I too have some jerky neighbors who I had to almost take to court because they put a fence up over 50' on my property after I bought it (they used a hand measuring tape to measure over 1,200 feet through dense woods to where they thought the line was). They dislike the previous owner, and wigged out when he sold the property. They finally agreed to move the fence back to the actual property line. I made it a condition of the agreement that they had to fill in the holes so that the horses wouldn't break a leg back there where they were digging around.

37 for a high today, with some sunshine. That sun really makes a difference. Any bit of the dirt showing in the road soaks up the heat and melts some of the ice and snow. And turns into goo, but oh well.

It made it to 30 here. The bad was the windy part. Little Mama (sebright escaped through the run door and she was blown away to the side, literally! I searched for her and could not find her, then checked to see if she came inside the house chasing Pixie the dog but she was not in the house. Finally found her in the snow just standing there all scared and paralized. Her poor little feet were so cold. I picked her up and brought her inside and warmed her up a little in my arms. Offered some oats and she was better. Took her inside and the never tried to go outside the other few times I went in. Funny in a way but felt so sorry for the poor little nugget!
The Lord has been so wonderful to me! I have a neighbor who loves baking. She is about 89 or so. She lives on the street over and her daughter also lives in teh same street. She always sends or brings banana bread for my husband since I do not eat cakes or breads like that. I told her that my husband wouild marry her one day and she is such a sweetheart. Well, her daughter came over tonight and brought banana bread and we talked a bit and once she heard about the family situation in Florida, she said she would not mind coming every afternoon to check on the girls. God works in mysterious ways always and he sends angels in disguise when we need them the most.
So, sitting a lot these past 2 weeks crocheting my days on chicken coasters for June, lol I am looking forward to having so much fun with all of you. Love ya!

Hi Lovelies!
Teps here around 24 the higest with windy again. Sophia (NN) is finally laying again. Today got 7 eggs hoping for one more later on maybe.

A bit worried becasue they do want to come out but the Juncos birds were back today. I scared them from the inside and they did not come back but it scared me a bit. They will have to stay inside until I do not see any birds around for sure.

Trying to get all lined up as much as I can before leaving to Florida. Will let you all know my day of departure.
Love you and miss you all!
