Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Ok, 2 yr old again....
Scenario:
Lil mama goes broody. Take her out and eggs and goes back every day. Close nest at night. 13 June decided to let her and gave her baby mama's eggs because she had not been laying. So she has a June 10,11,13,and 14 eggs since the 13th. ( had already eaten June 12th)

Question: when is she due? I meant the eggs, lol Put a fan towards her. It's very hot and I carried 2 pregnancies during summer and it was awful, so I feel so bad for her.

So, do I count 21 days from the 10th or when?
Count from the day you gave her the eggs.

It worked! It still isn't something I want to do very long but it is better than the current alternatives.

This is for the canning tomatoes and their companion marigolds. All of them got a good drink tonight.

I had to try twice. The first hose was too short and stiff; I got it going but it fell out too easily. Improvements would be a shut off valve on the lower end and a way to support the lower end. And to get a trailer going so I can use my own truck to pull it out there.

Eventually, I'd like a siphon hose all the way from the pond. I didn't have time this trip and it was too hot to fight the poison ivy and brambles between the garden and the pond. But eventually .... :)

The deer walked through but didn't take any bites of tomato plant. I drove several posts in and have the wire for the fence but ran out of daylight. I only had a bit of time at the tail end of the day up there today.

The fireflies are out but weird. I remember them making dashes; these all make ONLY dots.

Hey - I know I'm asking last minute n all, but do you need me to bring anything?

I have been so swamped I'm so behind! We are still on for Saturday right?
Bring what you can add to the pot luck and perhaps something for the raffle/swap. You know the drill. ;)
If the store manager is working tomorrow I'll ask if she can make a store donation for our picnic. They gave a gift card for the car show last week.

I have too figure on bringing something else for the pot-luck. I broke my crock pot crock.

Someone may want to bring a power strip or two, in case you have more plugs than outlets.

Dreamz, the day that you put the eggs in for her to sit on is Day Zero. The next day is Day One. Chicks will usually hatch around 21 days, although bantams sometimes will pop a little sooner.
