Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I was perturbed that I misremembered the weather forecast and thought today was supposed to be clear. I have laundry on the line. Then I saw the noon news and realized I have NOTHING to complain about. Laundry can get a second rinse.
Ooops!
We're getting the southern end of that mass.
It was not in the forecast this morning.

Very nice, @RaZ!

I keep telling DH to bring me home a pallet. I told a friend about building things out of pallets, and she has some ideas along those lines too. She saw a NICE red oak pallet at work, but she said she didn't need to bring even more stuff home. I told her I could store it for her.

Hi guys! Still depressed but was able to hear my brother's voice today. Such a joy! He was working at the marina helping with clean up and putting boats back. That's how they make a living. I am pretty sure that my brother is either out tonight fishing or will be early in the morning.

@SallyPB is ok, I also had cloth hanging out but the heavy cover is still out there,lol

@RaZ nice table. Impressive!

@Folly's place Mrs Mary, I know the pictures are devastating however, they will never capture the real hurt.

One thing about us is that we are very resilient and I know they help each other and will get back up.

I know that they do not have moral values,lol But he is just about 9wks,lol they both are and they both mounted mama,lol
Oh well, they mainly hang out with the older hens but my girls are roosters-allergic,lol

I've made a lot of things out of reclaimed pallets. It's always fun to make something useful out of something that was going to be scrapped.

I hate to admit it but I laid in a fire tonight. I was so very cold. I'm dreading the winter chill that is coming.
Got a quote for a new furnace this week. Yikes!:eek: No way I can afford the replacement on my own. I applied to a state programme and one within the county. Not sure if I qualify or not. The application process is complicated. My "golden age" has turned into a "colden age".
