Thank you all for the welcome . I'll keep the picnic/meet in mind. Is there any reputable hatcheries here in the surrounding areas? I've only dealt with Meyers and TSC. I've been into Blaine's farm and fleet in Jackson but haven't seen their chicks (Cackle?).

I'm looking for Silkies for the wife and Black Silver Marans (that might be a stretch with the prices inflated)
Any insight is much appreciated.

We often order from cackle and like their birds a lot. We have two orders coming this spring so far. I'll check with Blaine's myself too.
