Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

New ride. But not what I want. I want a big ride but too expensive still.

Hope to be able to get a Tahoe next.
Have been pretty ill lately, so have not touched the seedlings at all. They are still alive at least.

I can't believe the SNOW the UP is getting! On the news they said that Marquette had a snow day on October 18, and now one on May 1. So, before Halloween and after Easter. Wow.

Low here of 37 last night. Cherries and blueberries still ok. Two more nights of this foolishness, and then we turn the corner. Or go 'round the bend.
Official local reports in Marquette 38 inches.
I had 18 in Mon-Tues- On Wed 1/2 melted, today all gone. My greenhouse was put up the week before the snow. I thought for sure it would collapse under the weight but not a bit of damage occurred 😊.
It’s finally going to be warm(er) so I think I can get my tomatoes and peppers in the GH.

It is warm enough where you are to put them outside most of the time. They will do better there. The light is better and the wind bending the stems will strengthen them. Edit to add, protect them from the wind to start with when they look like yours.

Just be careful at first - I lost half of mine to sunburn the first year and it was in March (sun lower in the sky; weaker) for only a few hours. Put them in shade at first if the day doesn't have really thick clouds.

When you repot tomatoes, bury most of the stems. They will grow roots out of the stems and be stronger plants for it.

I'm doing a garage sale tomorrow. It is spur of the moment because my travel plans were postponed and I found out there is an event across the street.

I least like the pricing part. If anyone wants to help:

Electric dryer (works, good shape)
Treadle sewing machine (all moving parts move freely but the round leather belt is broken; looks good for unrefinished)

Seasons of shows such as NCIS, Whitecollar, JAG, Star Trek NG on dvd

Books, wide variety

Unopened 50th anniversary gold edition lego duplo bricks

Fisher price: airplane, service garage, etc

I did a LOT of garage saleing back in the day. Usually people either wanted to get rid of the stuff or wanted to get their money back.

I mostly want to get rid of stuff but not so much that I see it on Facebook marketplace next week, selling for waaaaay more than I got for it.
