What happened to my beautiful Snowbird's beak?!?! 😢

Got caught in something. There's a good likelihood it will grow back in, hopefully without much distortion. Keep an eye on her and make sure she can eat ok - may be more of an issue if you feed crumble, less so with pelleted feed.
I don't know what he caught it in, but hardware cloth could sure be it.

I feed crumble. When I gave them mash snack this afternoon, he seemed really hungry. I will be sure that I give them mash every day. I'll stop at TSC tomorrow and get a bag of pelleted feed tomorrow so he has that too.

A fair amount of car care discussion lately. I've been working all afternoon on my LTD. Water pump went out a few days ago. Based on the crud build up I think it must be the factory original. Just getting to it required taking the radiator out and all of the fan belt driven components. It's humbling to realize just how weak I have become. Barely had the strength to break free all those rusty bolts. I'm also limited by the shoulder surgery and messed up elbow. Slow progress but I'm getting there. While I have everything apart I can degrease and paint the brackets and accessories to make it all look good as new.

Now it's time for some light, easy work. Like cleaning out the coop.

John, do you still have goats you need to re-home or sell?

While the Kentucky Derby is a thrill, it does not have the visceral thrill of being surrounded by the humming hive and knowing that if things went wrong they could go very wrong.
Maybe the jockeys feel that way though.
Sorry for not getting back sooner. No we are all set. A Doctor down the road just retired and has a nice farm. He had cows when his kids were younger. He has all the required things to do this for his grand children. He is taking all the extras I have.
