Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Today is picture perfect in my neck of the woods. Finally a dry day. Breezy, sunny, cool. Got some mowing done. Been having to mow every four days with all the rain we've had. Lots of mushrooms in the yard. Yesterday, I applied beneficial nematodes. Hoping to kill off the grubs, and get rid of the moles. Also released some green lacewing larva to help with other pests

I've been using this map to track the smoke distribution and the AQI readings.
https://fire.airnow.gov/#
Let me know if anyone finds something that shows the altitude of the smoke,
because what's on the map doesn't always correlate with the AQI.
Although the map looks worse here than this morning,
the AQI has changed from 132 at 2pm to about 60 now at 5:30pm.
Tho I can still smell it, the sky is definitely blues and the sun shinier than most the day.

I haven't found one yet but This site has been loading faster and may be a bit easier to read.

I like the past and forecast features also.

Yeah, me too......BUT at least the fires aren't closer, like burning our lands.
...and it's not hot a hell out.
With what is happening in other parts of the country (and Canada), I feel we're pretty damn lucky.

DH was complaining during the 90s we had a couple weeks ago. Go cry about it to people AZ and TX. That doesn't cheer him up, but it does shut him up.
