What are glassed eggs?

Yes! Water glassed eggs. It really helps in the winter and right before they moult so I have consistent egg availability. Finished my second jar, and they should be good until next fall.

I use pickling lime (mutts is right).

We’re camping in Covert. Hanging out in Watervielt. Love this area. Rained on and off yesterday. Had a storm come thru early this morning but today looks great.

We haven't been, but there are lots of great things said about Saylor's Pizza! It's at 305 North Main Street. 269-463-5555

The guy who started it has since retired, his kids run it now and he supplies us with our firewood.

Chicken Fairy, have you been to Mikey’s ice cream? Ice cream and waffle cones are all made in house. What all three of us had was delicious! Weird thing was, there was an outside boxing match going on.

Mikey's Ice Cream is brand new and I've heard nothing but rave reviews. This outside boxing match... Like live people? I knew there was a reason I stayed out of downtown in the summer

Oh, man! I just looked up Mikey's Ice Cream. It's a good thing it isn't close to me!

Three scoops of your best chocolate, please! With peanut butter and caramel sauce. And some hot fudge on it too.

I'll have a ridiculous sugar buzz, then crash. And feel terrible and grumpy. Yeah, good thing it isn't close by.

There are fortunately no outstanding ice cream shops nearby. I do stop occasionally at the Dairy Queen for a heavenly chocolate chunk and strawberry flurry.
