Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

If they don't dip their wattles in an open waterer, they(along with the hens) will get them nipped whilst noshing on snowbanks. :gig
I totally learned the hard way last year because I was panicking 🤦🏼‍♀️ He pulled through and healed fine, but yes, I'll offer snow if I need to.

Our leaves up here in the Eastern UP are a bit past prime. But Saturday a friend of mine and I made a trip south of Charlevoix to an apple orchard for cider, apples, and all kinds of other goodies. We drove for miles through rolling hills covered with brilliant fall displays, we could not have picked a better day for a color drive. We stopped at one of my favorite beaches to pick rocks, and enjoy the beautiful views of bright orange and red hills with blue water and sky peeking from behind.

@Dreamzchaser we have missed you, but things are slowing down for the fall. I pray you'll find healing and are able to find a resolution to the vomiting blood. That's horrible! Keep pushing, as I get older, I'm finding that most doctors will just give you medication and move you along. You have to find someone who wants to fix you!

I think our doctor is a true find, as that is not his way. He does not "push pills," and is whole heartedly behind our decision to NOT be on any pills. (Hubby is on one that he will need for the rest of his life. That's the exception.)

He's an DO, not an MD. I don't know if that is what makes the difference, or not.
