Did you go the route of the conduit or the cattle panels?Snow does not fall off my hoop roof as well as I was hoping. I picked up a bunch of card board peices, big 3x4 peices. Going to fit them under the hoops between the tarp and hoops that is, in any spot that look like it could become a snow bowl... I may just pick up a few more pipe and fit them in the spaces as well. will be fun getting them around the top wood though. We'll see.
Thanks. For real.Your chickens are fine, Amy.
Is she in with a roo? Will you hatch me out 2 of her eggs for CS?Byfmom - I'm not really sure what kind of chicken she is that lays the pink egg. She was a trade from a friend and they just called her a production red. I kind of thought an Isa but I don't know for sure.
If you don't find her owner, I'll take her, I'll just pretend she's a he. She is pretty.
!!

I've been a little MIA on here lately. As soon as my speckleds start laying again (usually once it warms up a bit) I will be hatching and offering hatching eggs. I also usually have a bunch at Chickenstock! Thanks!try RIRJen. We got our pair of ss pullets from her and she is a lovely person with lovely birds!![]()
Good to know I can still fool people into thinking I'm nice! LOL
We just separated out our showgirls into their own coop away from the silkies and have a blue silkie rooster covering them. This is my daughter, Hannah, and one of our partridge hens
