Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I will happily put your son to work for $1 a day - oh wait that's child labor. Never mind. And I think you can get Raz to work for free (or for malt beverages)

Yep! Child labor. And we've got 3 boys. That means our labor costs will at least triple in the next 6 years.

Raz. I've got a deal for you. You can come up here, cut, split, and stack the wood we'll need for next winter, and in exchange I'll let you set me up with some honeybees on the far corner of our property. Sounds like a great deal to me!

Such a deal. I would be foolish to not accept.

Wow, go a day without logging in and look at all I missed out on! haha, My feelings on this topic are not important...I should be in bed but Kelly is still trying to pack to take her horse to MSU tomorrow for Stallion expo. This is her first event with the Mounted group for the sheriffs dept. I dont know who is more nervous, me or her LOL

Sounds like a lot of fun! I went to that about 25 years ago it was awesome. I wish I lived closer I would go.

When people sit, talk, listen, and share a pot of coffee together there are fewer misunderstandings. My goal for today is to try and be the nicest person people meet. Have a cup of coffee and a wonderful sunny day.

Daron! Are you getting my PM's? It's just that you haven't answered in about a week and I worry that we might have maxed out that discussion thread - if that's even possible. If that's not the case, no worries. Well, actually I'd worry anyway. Just wondering if I can send the hubby out for milk this evening? I'd send seeds with him.

Snowflake,

Thank you for asking, and good morning all.

He is really doing amazingly well, far ahead of schedule according to his doctor and physical therapists. He is still in hydro therapy, but will be starting land therapy soon. He is walking without any aide, though there is typically a "hitch" to his step, even on the best of days. A few weeks ago, he started taking care of the horses and donkey at the barn in the mornings and DS is helping in the evenings as well, which has really helped me out with my increased work schedule since I'm working 10 - 11 hour days now. My stress relief is still my chickens though. Every morning and night they are there, waiting for me. Tilting their heads and chirping at me as if to say, "What? Hard day today?"

For those of you new to this thread, on October 15th, my DH had a 1400 lb I-beam roll over on his ankle and leg which totally crushed it. At the time, we weren't even sure it could be saved.
