Finally finished the drawing I've been working on ........ I've decided not to take on any work for summer.. I just don't have the time.

I sold nearly all my pencil works to a guy in Detroit a few years ago. It created a vacuum in my artistic life that should, by the laws of nature, be filled. But I haven't been able to work up the strength to start an new picture (it can take me a year to finish them sometimes). I find it's easier if I do some small pieces to get warmed up, but I can't even seem to do that much.

So I am envious and inspired. I almost need to draw now but that would mean I have to dig in the attic for my supplies and that is just daunting enough to dissuade me.

Show me another, please

I have a few in here that I've done. Have a couple orders for drawings to do as well. I have plenty of work to do, just find that during summer and deer season, I don't have time to draw, and then yeah, I get out of practice too. A couple of the drawings on my deviant page I drew in a #2 pencil on copy paper.....can you tell which ones?.. so no attic digging required if you just want to doodle, grab something!

Got up this morning at 4am feeling like I'd been rode hard and put up wet. Since this Arthur feller decided to start hanging around I find it hard to get going some mornings. Made coffee, filled my thermos, then Hope got up, insisted I take a couple of Advil and said if I ached s bad I should go back to bed. Now I'm sitting here thinking I should have cowboyed up and gone.
