Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

So my blue laced red wyandotte search has reached a fever pitch. I have come to the conclusion that I will need to buy some fertile eggs for hatching. Theres an add on Craigslist for a person around my area that will hatch them for a small fee. My question is....when I buy the eggs, how much time do I have to get them into an incubator? I may need to wait a week or two for the incubator to be free.

Any thoughts?

I normally try to ensure that any eggs I place in a incubator are less than 10 days old and have never been refrigerated.

I've seen these people at the ravenna auction, too. They discretely left flyers...... so they may be willing to meet there on a saturday, too. Less driving then! (you'd have to meet at the gas station or something so as not to get them in trouble with the auction)
