chickenstock is the annual meet and greet, buy and sell that the MI thread does. Somewhere near lansing, i didn't get to go last year. Maybe this year i will get to go and meet everyone!

It was a potluck at a park last year, kid friendly!

i think there were crafts, too, not just chickens?

last yr was my first yr. It was awesome!!!'chickens,plants,crafts,honey,ducks guinea's and most important, LOTS of good people and food
It was June 23 this yr. OH and games for the kids. very nice park, very family friendly
Some one will start a sign up thread with more info when they are able to nail a date for the park, " Stay tuned"

I am ready to make my nipple waterer and need some advice.
I use a 11/32 drill bit
I have the nipples with grommet, do I need to wrap with tape before inserting in hole? Do I need to add any kind of glue to keep from leaking?
I bought them from QC supply and even got a free pair of gloves.

We have to wait until the new year before we can set up a date. I think we are shooting for the 3 Saturday in June...We will see.

Chickenstock is fun!

Maybe they should change the name n i p p l e to "push-in-waterer"???? That is much better in my opinion.

I got a green Family Farm & Home cap and cow bell for Christmas from sister #4 as she drew my name.

But she did not think to get a collar to go with the bell.....

So, got one after looking for it at 3 different stores! But I am glad that the collar fits after all that driving!
