Yeah, My SO said no way in heck am I allowed to use either shed. *sighs* I can understand the lighter one, but the one in the upper yard (the darker blue) would be perfect. He says No... :-(. I already tried to talk him into it with my womanly ways. Hahaha... Had he said yes, we would already have chickens!
Um, thanks everyone for the piglets, but I had posted that a week before Christmas. Someone simply refreshed that old post. So old news. BUT, I did have two more new litters last week.Gert had 8, and Maisy had 2! Shocking that Maisy had only 2! Oh well. Have 30 pigs now.
Anyone want some of these rare and wonderful heritage breed? I have some that are breeding age now, or want some tasty pork to raise?

Pretty girl!! Dainty face and sweet. She acts like she was hand raised. Toke a bit to catch her last night but did not struggle once i was holding her.
These pictures dont represent her color very well. She has that brown grey of a Toulouse but could be a Pilgrim? My book on breeds is packed away so i am guessing. Seems to be in good health.
Has a tiny bottom compared to my two American geese so I named her "Pippa".

STUPID falcon not only ate all my quail but now came back and my littlest showgirl GIRL is GONe. nothing but feathers in a pile in the corner. Now, the silkie is a roo, and a showgirl is a roo and that leaves ONE showgirl who doesnt get on with the older hen group- and well Bird, my OEGB, is mean, and she hangs with the old girls. That means my ONE showgirl is gonna be lonely after Saturday...and DID I MENTION that that little runt pullet was my favorite besides Bird?????? I was holding this one just yesterday!!!!!!

I tried texting Robin but I was too angry so I tried using Siri and she doesnt understand english.
It is approximately 25' by 40'. The dumb falcon took one quail at a time, and the only way I figured out what was getting them was it left footprints..um, falcon-sized footprints and a pile of bloody feathers, when it got the last one.
It was gone for awhile- I figured after it got the last quail, it knew the chickens were too big. *sigh* I was mistaken.thanks.
