Hi rirjen, glad i had the eggs in the fridge, made me think on it a little more and decided i am going to wait till weather is warmer and i am readyI do not recommend refridgerating eggs you want to hatch. I find the best method is room temp in an egg carton with the "pointy" egg down. I've had eggs hatch that were in the fridge, but I do believe it lowers the hatch rate.
i will do fresh eggs, i guess the newness of having fertile eggs, incubator, stuff for chicks feeders, waterer, light. got me in the mode of thinking chicks chicks chicks..
glad i had the eggs in the fridge.. gave me time to think and decide i am not ready.
seeing everyones chicks got me in the mood. have some things i want to do b4 i hatch eggs.. thanks everyone for keeping it real..
I guess i read several articles, awhile back.. and new it was possible.. that is why i was going to do it. but i dont have to get this done now. it can wait.
