so.... birds might be getting my dinner and I might be getting Pizza... I am a tester type and love to try new things in my head... yeah this didn't turn out LOL Was going to be a homeade pasta sauce... I was out of olive oil for roasting the cherry tomatoes in the oven so I used a little balsamic vinegar. Yeah bad move...way to bitter for me... I tried sugar added to no avail. I will let it cook down and make sure of the final taste but maybe the birds will like it haha
Which town is he from? I think that name sounds Reeeeeal familiar, is ringing some kind of bell for him being one of the high end breeders?
I had an EE that was kinda round too; i REALLY like the round look too
I was thinking on breeding to a cochin, but i have what I believe to be show quality porcelain d'uccles that i may try instead. (If i get the feet feathers in, it would fill out the bottom........ The mom seriously had to have had 5-6 inch butt fluff! And both carry their necks hunched which makes them look round too ) I wanted to breed for shape and personality, then refine color later down the line. And breed for very small birds, small large breed.
ENGLISH ORP. Oh, i wanted one too but got a hatchery one a couple years ago. Nothing alike at all, nice girl but didn't have the shape and definitely NOT the kind gentle personality they are supposed to have .
Chickens do eat up and dig up gardens.............. you need a fence!
