Hi everyone! Hope ya'll are enjoying yourselves! this has NOT been a great week for me.

Yesterday I woke up to find that we had lost power, only for it to come on 15 mins before I left for work. I had to drive my DH truck to work (since I work 15 mins away and he works 45 min) and found out I can't drive it faster then 60 on the highway, otherwise it starts to shake horribly! By the way, I HATE his truck but he swears it's his "baby". I get to work, late, because I had to drive the backway. My DH THEN calls me at work and informs me that somehow, between the hours of 10pm and 8am, something got into our chicken coop.... and we now have no chickens. Not a feather or anything was left behind. There are no marks on the ground, no holes, fencing is still perfect, nothing in the coop. I am beyond devasated to say the least since these little fluff balls have all I have thought about in my spare time. BUT my bad day doesn't end there..... I go to leave for my lunch only to find out my DH's "baby" decided to have a brake line burst, resulting in my almost hitting someone pulling out of my work parking lot......

Yes that all happened in less then 8 hours.....

So before we run off and get anymore chickens, I am going to build some sort of coop that is indestructible.... ugh

This is sweet mamma. 7 wk old chick taking care of couple day old chicks. The black and gold one is older, but so terrified. That gold spot in her wing is another chick

Good morning. Everyone seems to be doing well on the Minnie Farm. All five of my ladies laid yesterday. Now I can tell the difference between the BSL eggs and the ISA Browns! Yesterday DH told me that he might like to get a Pig to "finish off". I asked how come he could get a pig and I couldn't get a goat? Now it appears we are contemplating getting both. LOL the farm is growing.

I hate days like that! Could they have been taken by a two legged thief? Or gotten out and just hiding or somewhere DH didn't see them?
