I am home. Furloughed til next Wednesday unless a budget/continuing resolution enacted by congress & signed by Pres.

I won't go into all the sordid details & complete lack of planning by the Army & the utter confusion at work this morning...suffice it to say it was beyond bad, & IMHO inexcusable.

On a kind of funny note, last night hubby was getting some work done and said he was waiting for some info from army on a case. I told him oh, I know someone that works for the dept of defense. He just looks over at me like, since when?! I just laughed, I said ya and her name is preciouskitty and she has chickens. I think he thinks I'm crazier than ever, lol.

Someone asked recently about a coop cam...
I have a game can that I picked up at Menard's for around $60. Wildgame Innovations is the brand.

I bought the lowest price one (~$60), it works day and/or night, can shoot still hi-res photos or video. The sequence of still shots can be programmed form 15 seconds to 2 minute delays.
I checked it this afternoon and found that the city has once again visited my property. That explains why my gate was left open and unlatched. They always seem to come by when I am not home. Wonder why?

Anywho, this is the medium resolution setting.

He may be waiting a while on that info depending on whether it is from a civilian or military..if civilian, they just may be furloughed!
And you are right, I am gonna make the best of my time off...I am just really feeling for some of our younger folk that are still reeling from our forced furloughs over the summer...
