This certainly has been a day of challenges. The morning's started at 8am with the doctor's physician's assistant calling to tell me that the antibiotics they have me on aren't going to work and that I needed to go the the hospital emergency care to be given an IV administered antibiotic. It seems the post operative staph infection I have is a drug resistant and potentially life threatening strain referred to as MERSA. Needless to say lying in a hospital with a IV inserted in my arm wasn't how I had thought I would be spending my morning. A mere 4 hours later I was back home and finishing my crosswords.
Since I have a newly opened wound in my arm, my family has decided that I am not allowed in the chicken coop for the immediate future. So when the weather alert indicated strong storms were headed our way Hope ran out and gathered eggs. She had just gotten inside when the clouds opened up. Now the storm has past and calm has once again returned.
If you think about it, if also how life happens. So when we face each storm in our live we need to remember the calm will always return.
