My BLRW isn't walking today. Last night when I was checking on everyone I noticed he wasn't in the coop (and it was dark) and found him in the run, under the ramp. I picked him up and put him IN the coop figuring he just was out

Hope it isn't anything bad and he recovers fast

If I lose power I also lose water being on a well...

That is the one good thing about having a pond, although not drinkable, great for everything else when power is out.

All i wanted was a small grinder sausage stuffer, and this is what i end up with for Christmas.. You can tell i didnt pick this out.. i think my hubby went a little overboard.. grinds pretty fast though..

I feel bad for everyone without power or water, praying you get power and a shower soon..

Wow, so jealous. Would be way faster and easier than my kitchen aide. Showed DH, maybe Christmas next yr.

Thanks for all of the offers to help us out!!! I sure hope I don't lose my mind from this. I don't want to be told by DTE 'thanks for your patience' ever again!!

I'm in Capac, not far from Lapeer, if you need wood. I don't have a wood burner, but we do have a chainsaw and lots of woods, we can cut and bring you some. Not sure where your from, but PM if you need anything.

Nova - finally got around to snapping a photo of the roo. Hopefully his tail will just keep growing... sure is taking it's sweet time!

Thanks for the offer! My DH cut some wood tonight. We are hoping Saturday will be our lucky day! I'm going to need a maid to help me find my kitchen! Every time we fill up the wood stove, I'll be checking the DTE website. Gotta make sure they close out our work order again!

Thermos is filled and in the truck. Two cups of coffee down and one crossword worked. I'll sit here and work another while waiting for David. I should be a great morning to be sitting in the deer blind. Of course any time spent with one of my sons is a great morning. I hope the day is as pleasant for all of you as I know mine is going to be.

Two big does certainly would help our larder. Not having venison in the freezer certainly affects my budget. I sure miss the years that I would already have 8 or 10 deer cut up and frozen by now. Hopefully next season my health will have improved to where I can get back to hunting like I used to.
