Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Our chicks often eat and poop plastic. love Styrofoam. No apparent ill effects but we try to keep availability to a minimum.

My chickens eat Styrofoam too. I try to get it before they spot it but for some reason they just love it.

Yeah..Flew out of Flint instead of Metro today. Really no direct flights out Flint...well, unless ur going to Atlanta !!

Finally at hotel. Long day...already. Was a 1.5 hour drive from DC to final destination. It is 52 here

Wish I were here during summer, right here on Chesapeake Bay near the Naval Air Station.

I need food...and CHOCOLATE...

Tomorrow I am finding somewhere to get me some good ole Maryland. Crab cakes!

Agreed! Now is when the Christmas chocolate disappears! :)

Just got back from a CVS run...Dove Promises dark chocolate was on sale, & I had $8 extra bucks :D

Oh...my chickens like styrofoam, too.....

@juise - So sorry for your loss. :(

We had some blue sky peek out today. But not a lot of the sun like they said. However tomorrow will be better. Sunshine and 42! I'm holding thewweatherman to it!

Hi everyone, just finished catching up! Welcome Henrietta; I started with three chickens___ long ago___ now overwinter 35 or so... Fuzzy, sorry about your troubles with the birds. Almost any vet clinic should be able to run a fecal, or better yet send it to an outside lab. Hope your birds are better; did you contact Dumor about the possible feed issue? I feed Purina, and three years ago when one of my chicks died of vitamin E deficiency, they were more than helpful. It was an individual bird problem, not the feed at all, but their response was fantastic. Mary
