I bought my husband an outside camera that he latches on a pole to catch critters trying to get in the coops. It takes the photos when it detects motion and then we download them onto the computer. If you have a chicken-sitter maybe they could download the photos and email to you? Then you could get a visual on your chickie-butts?
Haha! Seriously, I'm not a chicken-enabler, really!
My nickname growing up was Lizard (from my uncle). Aunt calls me Lizzy. I don't mind either.

I never heard Lizard until stepdaughter at about 14 thought she was too funny and called me Lizard-breath one day. Probably after eating spicy Italian food.

Thanks guys... wasn't sure I you wanted to watch the progress or not.. just tell me to knock it off. I have to finish it by the 20th so it won't be too long and drawn out I promise... LOL!

Thanks! Always good to have more tricks up the sleeve. I think i'll try it on my one hen who doesn't have any swelling. Might be gentle enough to use while my hen who had the surgery is healing, too.

I did have a reliable sitter who decided to get a real job as a nurse since she graduated a few months ago....I sure hope one of my neighbors would be able to.
