Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Hi Guys,
Hope all is well with everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on the MI Thread. I would pop in here & there if I was looking for info. Life has been busy & carries me away at times. I've always enjoyed the chatter & friendliness of everyone on here. Nice to see there are many familiar faces still posting regularly and few new names from when I'd actually checked in last.

Anyway....I need some help in answering a question. This is one of my so called rescue chickens I got this fall. The question.......Roo or hen? I believe I already I know the answer but just want back up! lol

Went to the meeting with Raz and Wendy today. It was interesting to say the least. about 18 people spoke out against the site gaamps proposals and shared their stories/situations. No one who showed up was for it.

What would have been nice was if someone from the committee would have been there who could have answered questions or help clarify what the intent for the proposals were, but no one was there. All comments were recorded/transcribed and will be taken back to the committee.

Farmer.. I read your letter aloud and gave it to the meeting adminstrator. I wanted to make sure you had a voice (next time I need to remember my glasses).. lol! Raz and Wendy did a fantastic job speaking and addressing points on the changes. I hope they will step in and say something more about today.

There was also a young man, Kyle Miron for Hogwash, the American Pig Tale. (He's been fliming Bakers Green Acres) with a film crew who tapped the whole thing.. (I hope he leaves out the part where I lost my composure, I don't do well speaking in public). http://americanhogwash.org/

My Michigan people,in June I will be having a county themed open house. If any of you have old mason jars, galvanized buckets or like metal wash tub things, or any farmish tip decor. If any of yall have this stuff sitting in your good will box let me know, I am a backyard chicken farmer and have fallen in love with the hole thing, not a lot of people around here have hand me down farm stuff.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place
If you can help me please let me know
