The EE looks rooish and for sure the red one is a pullet, but the bottom two are not silver laced Wyandottes. They look like delewares or columbian Wyandottes but the one looks like it has a pea comb in the pic. ?

No, I said my 2 laced wyandottes wouldn't hold still for me to get a pic. lol The 2 in the pic are light brahma's, I think their pullets, but not sure. Thanks

Oh I see, you never mentioned Brahmas so .... I guess that's what I get for assuming They look like girls to me too.

Anyone know what kind of bush this is? It had been yanked and fell in the road. Evergreen leaves. I stuck it in the bathtub overnight to see if it would pull through

looks like a kind of holly? older lady I used to know had one next to her front door...

It looks like a holly, (Ilex sp.) but good luck finding out which species or cultivar. There are dozens of them.
Welsummers seem to be very talented escape artists.

Hiya everybody! Just going to introduce myself into the community, since I haven't properly done that yet. I was just hoping to chat with some fellow Michiganders! I've got my 12 chickens and my children have found names for all of them already! We have Wyandottes, buff Orpingtons, welsummers, an ISA Red, and some Ameraucanas. We love our chickens, as do the kids! They're only about a month old and the coop still isn't finished! but other than that they seem quite happy and are very kind towards each other and the children.

Sorry about that, I should have said Brahma's. lol When you say pea combs, are those the combs that some hens have? I guess 1 rooster wouldn't be bad out of the group. Still need to post the 2 wyandottes and get an idea on them but I'm still gonna keep the EE even if he's a roo, I like him. Thanks
