But, as of this morning; 4 babies (2 EE, 2 OE)...1 all black, 1 black w/white breast, 2 grey/tan...
So darn cute & fuzzy...running around and being all silly

Someone asked me earlier about Sumatra eggs/chicks. Unfortunately since I had an illness in my flock and I am not sure if it is MG or not, I will not be letting any of my birds off my property.

Sad day in the art world today, H. R. Giger passed away yesterday. He designed some pretty dark surreal stuff, but it was beautiful just the same. .. you've seen his work in the movies Alien and Species. I'm a Korn fan, the mic stand for JD was created by Giger too. Though I love Gigers work way before I was a fan.

I was the one asking about sumatra chicks, I hope it isn't MG. Sorry to hear about Giger.

The OO was peeking in my living room window when I noticed him. He never knocked on the door and he ignored the big NO TRESPASSING sign.

I went out and asked him to leave. He refused, saying that he wanted to look in my backyard and garage. I declined and asked him again to leave.
He wanted my phone number and other personal information so he could investigate a "complaint". He could not answer where the complaint came from or from whom. So I asked him to leave again and said that he was trespassing on private property. Well, he got indignant at that and let me know that the ordinance officer can go anywhere he pleases. So I started filming him and repeating that he was trespassing. He did back away at that point but as he left, commented that I would be seeing lots of tickets in the future. I think that I have been threatened by a pseudo-cop with an axe to grind.

I called the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund for support in this matter. If you are not a member, please consider joining this organization that supports food freedom across the nation. If you are a member of the Michigan Small Farm Council (MSFC) you are covered somewhat by association. Don't let your rights be taken away.

SHAME ON YOU.

Your actions are small-minded and petty. Raz would be a good friend to you, if you would let him. And Karma has a tendancy to even things out for those like you. Hopefully someone, someday, rides roughshod over your freedoms.

One thing about public forums is that a group of like-minded people from all over can get together to share a common interest. The downside is that there will always be a few who want to cause problems. It can be part of the process of education and sharing that goes back as far as Plato and Socrates. How we deal with the nay-sayers, trolls and spies are up to us as individuals.

Since I joined this forum I would have to say that "chicken people" are just about the best people out there. You goat, duck, sheep and rabbit people are pretty OK too.
