I have a breeding pair. My Spitz boy has a few screws loose but the hen is an absolute sweet heart.
I've got about 20 Spitz and might be able to help you out if needed anytime.

The incubator went into lockdown this morning. Then I was reading that bantams can actually start hatching at 18 days. So I keep looking at the incubator. My DH caught me this afternoon and told me "back away from the eggs" that they won't hatch if I keep looking. It has been a nice restful day but unfortunately that means I have lots of time to drift over to the incubator.

Kinda like watching a pot of water to boil, lol.

Thanks everyone

Yep they are cedar and luckily I had some cedar colored paint so it brought the old wood back to life. I wish I took before pics as they where rough. Was full of poop in and on top and was 2 inchs deep.
The hearts was just cedar colored so I busted out my pink nail polish and painted them with that! The tops lift for easy cleaning and retrieving eggs and also the floors remove to clean too.

I have too many chickens! I have Bielefelders, Jubile Orps, Swedish Flower Hens and some mixed mutts. PM me and let's make a deal!
