I just find it highly suspicious that on the very last day of the work programme I get pinched. On a trumped up charge.

Remember back a few years ago when someone here posted that they went to a sheep farm in Frankenmuth and bought some wool? That farm has the same name as me. A few days after the post, the OO came by and said that they had a complaint that I had sheep in my back yard.

I got the mail today and our new vet sent us a sympathy card for our barn kitty we had to put down on Tuesday suddenly.

It was so heartfelt, handwritten and full of love. I am so glad we chose her.

Hope has become friends with an old lady in the neighborhood where she babysits her Granddaughters. She told me that this friend is having a difficult time financially and since she heats her house with wood could we cut some and give to her. Since our woods has an abundance of dead or fallen trees performing an act of Christian charity was a simple thing. In 2 hours we had cut enough wood to fill a 5x8 trailer 3' deep.

The woman's reaction to the pile of wood was payment enough for the few hours of our time. While my pension's purchasing power seems to dwindle each month, there are many seniors that every month is a real struggle. If we each helped someone in need the world would be a much nicer place.

Let me know the next time she needs the wood rack filled. I can fill a 5x8 trailer with seasoned firewood or come help cut and split wood locally.

Raz, can you pm us?? This is nuts. Glad as hades i don't live anywhere near garden city!! If i owned a house i'd just steal you out of there but my situation at moment is that my birds are at a friend's until i can buy a place.
