Well perhaps not mature but you should be over 21 and not easily offended by naughty words.

Welcome Lillie, love your name....this is fun place to be, hope you can make chicken stock, in Lansing June 20

wild birds have gone through a lot of suit blocks this month, refilling 2 feeders this AM

Sure sign of spring, hatching chicks! But because it is still cold outside, they're keeping warm in the basement.

I also lost all my honeybees this winter. From dysentery. I was looking forward to golden, delicious honey. It tastes so amazing when it comes from your own bees... :(

Enjoy.

I may actually grill sometime this year, DH just hooked the old gas grill up to the main house propane tank (don't worry, he does know how to do these things.) He mainly did this because he wants to try using it to boil down maple sap. I never grilled because the 20 pound tank always seemed to be empty and I've never been that fond of gas. So, who knows?

Yeah you should be all set once he get's it all hooked up, especially if you are going to use it for processing sap. That sounds like a win win situation. Personally I don't grill over gas that often, only when I don't have much time. I have a few cords of split shaggy bark hickory and a whole lot of branches, so I usually cook over wood. The problem with cooking over wood is it doesn't burn evenly like gas or coal. So you end up having to move your food around a lot, adding wood, adjusting the height etc. It's a lot of extra work, but the taste makes it worth it.

Oh yeah, our honey was super good! We're going to start up two hives this year!

We've got a little flooding issue with all the snow melt. Had a pump and shovels out last night to get rid of it and to divert the water away
From the shed where the goats and sheep are. Not good for the bedding to get all wet with babies in there!
