Just curious. What breed laid those plum colored eggs? Are they plum colored?

They are kind of plum colored and are either our New Hampshire or Rhode Island Reds, not exactly sure. These are hatchery stock from TSC.

Mine aren't necessarily plum but our Wyandottes lay a sorta plum color w/large speckles egg.

We had to dig up the septic for clean out and of course we never mark it afterwards even though we swear we are not gonna go through this again.

After 3 missed holes Spidey decided she was going to help them.




Plenty of worms were found.

Has anyone had success in treating vent prolapse? My little Serema hen is having problems.

I've treated in in a skunk, if that counts. Put prep H ( in emergency, sprinkle sugar) on the protrusion, leave a few minutes for the swelling to go down and gently push everything back in. Put more prep H on anything left sticking out.
