Well, I was right to fear going to the TSC in Saline today. They got their first shipment of chicks in today. Just a big bunch of Buff Orpington pullets was all they had. And there was somebody else there that was pretty close to getting some themselves. I stayed strong and resisted the urge. That and since I got buffs last year I would clearly need something different next.

I either go to the one in Whitmore Lake or the one by South Lyon. And TSC just sent me an e-mail with a coupon for 15% off. And BOs are my favourite.

Perhaps I should consider that my sentencing is coming up on March 8th.

Thanks for that Mutt. I'm sure the OO, prosecutor and probation officer will appreciate this post. They have admitted to using BYC posts against me in court. Just tell them that you took this photo and that I am a menace to the very fabric of society here in GC.

They're the Doodyheads who don't have better things to do than to just bully you around for no good reason other than your neighbor doesn't want you to have chickens or grow a garden in freaking Garden City. They should change the gorram name if they're against Gardening in Garden City.

Good morning everyone. Newbie here from West Michigan. This will be our first year with chickens. Already got a brooder set up just waiting to pull the trigger on some little ones till I have a coop and run set up outside. Going back and forth between converting an old bunny hutch that is only big enough to house at most 4 hens or buying one built from a local guy that can hold up to 12 birds. Cost will be about the same either way just depends on if I want to be lazy or not.
