I'm starting to get the excitement thing going. But the amount of work involved in moving is darn near overwhelming. It's a 3-hour drive each way and I've been doing everything by my self so far. I have another trailer load ready for tomorrow.

As for cleaning...that is not my forte. I want to hire a service to come in and do a good job before I start moving my stuff in. I figure that if I start all spic and span I'll have a better shot at maintaining a nice clean house.

It will really become a home once the dogs, cats, and poultry are settled in.

That's fabulous. Hope it makes up for all the angst in G#@$#! C$**.
Will they drop legal action now do you think?
There has been no legal action since I won my case in February. I was told that the prosecutor told the a-hole neighbor to stop wasting the court's time. I don't know if that's true or the neighbor is back on his meds. In either case, no one has bothered me so far.
I'm just happy to be leaving this crap city and all the angst. :wee

I hope everyone's weekend went well! Mine started out a little rough lol but finished out good. Ran my first 5k in over a year and help cut down some trees around the house and coop.

Raz I'm so happy that things are finally going your way. Best of luck with moving everything.

Good idea, RaZ. Cleaning crew will come in and in a few hours will have everything ready for you to move in. That's a long trip going back and forth moving furniture, etc. But, in the end, it'll be so worth it. You can collapse in a chair, heave a big sigh and put a huge grin on your face. Your new journey has started.... Good Luck!

Back down state for another load to move. I've been doing it all by myself so far.
I think I'll take the turkeys up with me this next trip.

Hope you get some help with the heavier things! Do you have a place to put your turkeys?
One thing good about moving, you get a chance to get rid of things that you didn't know you had and don't need.

So far none yet. Turkeys will go up the second trip of the weekend after I get the shed converted to a coop.
I'll be putting the "labour" in Labour Day this weekend.
