Mostly because the Coloral amused me.
Plenty good reason :D But....."Coloral"?? Typo?

Picked up my fresh turkeys yesterday from local grower....
.....22 & 25lbs, had to remove 2 crisper drawers to fit them in.
I'll butcher both birds into parts, bag 'em in portions that work for me, and have turkey in the freezer for the 12 months. Just finished last years batch a few weeks ago.

I was going to butcher my turkeys but the tom is such a nice looking bird that I'll let them be for now. He can breed the 2 hens in the spring.
Block is laid for the garage and the back-filling is done. Supposed to pour the floor tomorrow but it will probably be on hold due to a financial snafu with my bank. I'll probably have to go to the city on Wednesday.

Supposed to get cable tomorrow. They promised me that the line would be run. Hopefully the third time is the charm.
 
My turkeys........got a little big. I didn't realize I needed a months advance notice with the processor to get them in. So they had an extra month of feed and free ranging. The smallest was 31 lbs and the biggest was 38 lbs............oopsie! I took the smallest in to the meat market and hand them cut it in half.
