Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I'll probably wait until next year. Unless you think they may have some I can get after Thanksgiving.
Will let you know if they do.
These birds are on pasture, but a limited amount of space.
They are fed 'regular' feed, not organic or nonGMO or anything special.
Not sure if that meets your wants.
Might be best to find some place closer, or raise your own.
They get poults around July-Aug so they are not too big to sell fresh the week of thanksgiving...they missed a bit on timing this year, few if any birds were under 20#.

Well Comcast lied to me. They promised that a service line would be run on Monday and connection made on Tuesday. Neither thing happened.

So I'm back at the library...

They sold them all, they only did 25.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

I've made the decision to start looking for an older puppy, younger dog. Herding mix, no terriers. Larger dog type. Good with kids, animals, cats, chickens. Needs to be able to be trained to work off lead. My guy is almost 12 and I would like him to pass on some knowledge to a younger dog before he passes. Just putting it out there in case! Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving, Friends!
I am especially thankful for my good friends and wonderful family, you guys are the best

Jackie, petfinders.com is a good place to see a lot of dogs, and you can screen for dog, cat, and child friendly, but not chicken! Also check your local Humane Societies, and any breed rescue groups. I think that any dog you find will have to be trained in 'chicken avoidance'. Good luck searching! Mary
