Hey Y'all!

Well, Turkey Day didn't go exactly as planned, as I had planned. I had planned on going over to the farm after work last night to put the turkey parts in a brine so that I could put them on the smoker in the morning. However I kinda had to rush home because my poor girlfriend had been dealing with water running out of our ceiling vent light in our bathroom for several hours while I was at work. Apparently, somebody up on the third floor had plugged up a drain and left the water running, sending that water down through the second floor apartment's bathroom and then down into ours. And worst of all, our landlord was out of contact for a couple of hours. Fortunately, somebody was able to get in touch with one of the maintence guys and he was able to get here and into that apartment to shut off the water, and everything had stopped dripping by the time that I got home. kinda had to talk Amy down from there as she's was super stressed about it all happening right now as they're getting everything all lined up for Black Friday. She was supposed to in that evening to do the count, but she was able to get in touch with her coworkers to cover for her that evening. Just wasn't happy about not being able to get in touch with the landlord to have the situation taken care of.

Anyways, opted to do the Turkey breast and thighs in the oven and it turned out alright.

Libraries are wonderful places. Although maybe not as great if it is a forced trip.
It is a 30 minute trip to the library. So an hour is wasted just driving. I could be working on stuff around the house but I'm here again.

I stopped in the cable office and filed a complaint. I can see the cable junction box on the pole in the neighbors yard. That pole is 260 feet from my house. The entire road has cable except for me. I'm going to have to up the complaining, I think.

October and November have been terrible months for me. :barnie So much has gone wrong.
