Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I was an engineer for many years.
I understand mechanical functions, gravity, mathematics, and even some physics.
I know what enables planes to fly; boats to float; and even a bit of space travel.

What I can't understand is how a 10 pound cat becomes an immovable object when I try to change the sheets on the bed.

Because cats are.....&%%#$* PITA's!!
I have to respectfully disagree. I'm not a crazy cat lady but I do love my kitties.
Hobbes, the feral rescue from the Humane Society of Huron Valley is a great cat. He has greatly reduced the number of chipmunks around here. He even taught the old tom, Fred, how to mouse. Neither one has ever bothered the chickens.

I'm getting anxious for the first egg from this flock I got in fall. They should be close to POL. :fl

Have had many cats over the years and enjoyed most of them, might not mind having one outside, but highly doubtful(never say never) that I will ever again allow one inside my house. I still like them, as long as they live with someone else :D as I've gone to the dogs

Same here. Never had one as a kid, but my first wife showed how cool they were.
Since then I always had cats and dogs. Fortunately they all get along. The dead weight bed cat grooms the face of my old dog and keeps the devil dog puppy in line. The dynamics are fascinating to me.
