Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Looks like the village finally dropped of the wood chips they promised several months ago...Squeeee!!!
Was just wishing this morning that I had some more before the real snow starts.
Too bad I can't use the large garden cart(unless I want to remove the snow thrower counter weights that are mounted on the hitch-and I don't really), ohwell, wheel barrow will work!
Long walk(~300') with small loads, kills my foot and knee...but still, good to have on hand.
One load, at left, is 'fresher'....one on right looks older and lots of 'dirt' in it.
I drove by the 'village yard' and it looks like someone dumped a bunch more chips there, might have been what spurred them to finally get rid of some of it.
I stopped in to thank them but the admin didn't know what or when.

Well some good news. Yesterday my TV was broadcasting in Spanish. I guess something when haywire after the power went out and came back on. I couldn't get it back to English. Today it is English. :clap So I should be able to see most of the Lion's game before going in to work.
On a side note: FB isn't working today. Can't get any updates on my friends who are in the hospital. Anyone heard from John? He was supposed to be coming home yesterday.
My dad was in the hospital the week before thanksgiving and I swung by to check in on him during the game. Gave him a hard time for watching the Lions as it's not going to do him any good. Not recommeneded.

My knee is very stiff. Limited bending ability. I go in Wednesday to have the knee manipulated. :hmm :fl Sure sounds like fun...NOT But hopefully it will break up the scar tissue and I can get more mobility.
Have a good day, all.
One of those deals where they knock you out and then they crank on the joint to loosen it up? My Mom had one of those done to cure a frozen shoulder on her. Not a lot of fun. But it can work.

Hope it does work. Yes, they're putting me under and cranking the knee. Sounds like it will hurt.... Glad I'm under. But worried about what could happen during the procedure and what it will feel like once I wake up.

Nonsense. Watching the Lions play is good therapy. Keeps the body's love/hate function strong.

Worry is a tax that you pay for something that hasn't happened. Don't worry, think positive.
Here is an example: While I'm under, I hope they shave my leg.

One nice thing about working at the gas station / convenience store is that I am allowed to take home food stuff that is past expiration date. Scored 4 half gallons of milk tonight for me and a few slices of stale pizza for the dogs.

The sub shack has several containers that expire tomorrow. They will be good treats for the chickens.
