Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I've done my shopping and am going to stay close to home for the next ten days, at least.
Everyone stay healthy!

My shopping is animal feed first. Chickens, cats, and dogs are provided for before anything else. Today was payday and after the critters were taken care of, I paid down some of the propane tab.
That's one of the reasons I like living in a small town. I was able to catch up on the last bill and they filled my tank again. This was based on my verbal promise that I'll pay the bill in full when I get paid again. If only DTE and the internet company were as accommodating.

I'm just hoping to survive until the new job starts and I can draw a regular paycheck, Surely I'll get to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Here is a link for your enjoyment. There should be two house roofs visible, we are the south one.

So I played with The map... How close are ya to "The letters"? It looks like a relaxing foothills kinda location. And I'm very curious what Northern Hemisphere locations you could compare geography with it?
I think it would tend to be southern Tennessee to northern Florida.
Yeah, I don't think he's up in the high country there. There's some stretches of the Andies where a lot of things don't like to work because the air is so thin up there. Probably a little thin to a Michigan Lowlander, but shouldn't be that bad as long as you're not overdoing it.
We are at 7200' I struggled with upset stomach quite a bit. I need to be selective with the varieties of food that are available. Yogurt goes well with the stomach, so I consume more than I normally would back in the states.

Something that I saw from the Wikipedia article about the town. Think somehow Google butchered the translation from Spanish, German, or the local language of Quechua. But from the sounds of it they had some sort of a fire there?
There was quite a bit of local fires here in 2019 but they were all contained effectively. The government did try to help, but found few local people that were actually willing to put forth the effort it takes to be an effective brush fire fighter.
