Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I found if I tried to read Shakespeare (different time, but the idea applies), I understood it better if I read it aloud. Not to anyone, just out loud to myself.

Kind of like if you hear some unfamiliar street slang in a movie, you can understand it pretty well just from context, better than if you read the script.

Hi There! Seems like I was gone forever. Seems too that the good Lord wants to keep me around. Spent a few days in Hospital. This getting old business is rapidly climbing the stock market, :lau
Have new referrals to various specialists and my girls keep growing. I do not have time for doctors. Got back from hospital Thursday evening to find out that the neighbor that lost her husband last Saturday to cancer, she is now in the hospital too. Good thing her mother called me because she saw my vehicle turn her corner and knew I was out of the hospital myself.
I had to take pictures of my kiddos yesterday. I think they are older than I think. I am only counting since the day I brought them home. Here are some pictures on their 3rd week with me.
Here is Phoebe

I have to do that coop. The shed work has stopped. Girls are my main concern, not even my health at this point. They are getting so big. X is at home with me and he took a little video of me feeding them half of a scrambled egg right from my hand will upload once I make a GIF out of it.
I will need a lot of help from all of you for the coop. I have never done anything like it and I have a notebook full of drawings and measurements. Had to call Home Depot this morning because the lumber shipment have to be re-scheduled since I was not home. I am planning on a 10x8 coop. Not sure if I want the nesting boxes towards the outside because of the winters here. But I want it to look very nice because I had to pay big money to the county, so I want it to look super good and better looking than those carolina coops (wishful thinking).

This is where it all stopped, The foundation for the shed which is on the back side of the house on the east side. Which is ok because I have to get a pressure washer and clean those walls and there will be room for painting the house later in the summer.

That cattle guard gate will be placed in the entrance hopefully with an electric arm so I do not have to get out to open it. Just tired of people coming in as it was a Walmart parking lot.
Then here you will see where I am planning to put the coop and the run from one end on the west but middle of back of the house towards the east but not too close to the shed. coopsite1.jpg

The width is about 25' minus the 8' of the coop. Now it will come back towards the back about 12' except on the area of the coop which extends 10'. So the run will be kind of like an "L" backwards. Like looking at this last picture, up to the wood laying at the edge of the picture.

This worthless coop will be inside the run and it will be the henspital. Or when new arrivals come to quarantine. Now I have to find and upload the pictures of my drawings to show you but I get tired easily and I have to get my meds now. Will be back in a few to keep going. I want to give you all the details I have and then from there with your help, I can make changes as they need to. I for sure know that in the summer, I want to put insulation inside before the winter comes and another reason is in the back of the house is because I can throw an extension cord to get some electricity in the coop.
Be back in a while.
I missed you all!
