More scores from work. The flowers I paid for. The bins were going to be thrown in the dumpster. I'll use them for returnable bottles and cans.

Dang, @RaZ! More great scores! I know some really great stuff where I used to work went to some deserving people. (Not me.) I was slightly jealous, but I have gotten my share of goodies too.

The daffodils are starting to go crazy. Payoff for the 100s of bulbs I planted over the years when we first lived out here.

Very Nice Raz! I see why addicted to flowers. They are beautiful!

Hey just out of curiosity... I change the water like 5 times a day and it always smell rotten. Is that normal? I only use purified water because my water is not good for consumption. Even my hair turns red,
I have not been feeling well. My chest feels so darn tight I can barely breath at times. But I am going to ride it out for just a few more days. Spent the day in bed except bathroom, shower, the girls and the dog. I think even the things I do not have hurts today :lau

Do you clean out the waterer too? Give it a good scrub with bleach and RINSE VERY WELL.

In the summer, I put a little kombucha in the water. ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) would work too. This lowers the pH of the water, and algae doesn't grow in it as fast.

The stuff that ends up in the waterer where chickens are is very nice for growing icky things. :sick Especially in a nice warm environment.

Yes, every time with bleach and dawn but still stinks

 Is it made out of metal or plastic? I sometimes think different metals "smell funny."

Does the water itself stink? When our water softener quit last spring, wow, did our water start to smell.

Is your "purified water" from the store, or run through a filter on your sink? Maybe the filter is going bad/clogged?
