Thank you, everyone, for your kind words and condolences.

I found Blue Pearl Vet clinic on Michigan Avenue. They had compassion and caring like no other ER vet I have ever been to. If Grand Rapids is your area for ER Vets, I highly recommend them.

We went to Blue Pearl when your last dog, Raven, had heart failure. They were wonderful.

The reason we took Mara to Animal Emergency is because 3 weeks ago when she had her first seizure, our local vet referred us there because they could see her sooner than Blue Pearl.

Mara was always a quiet dog. I'm finding the difference between a quiet house and a silent house is one Mara.

Will do. I do not want an accident to happen. And will put wood shavings in the nest boxes. They were tired last night. Picked them up one by one again because nothing I try will get them to me. No oats, fruits, not even watermelon which they love. They do not like mealworms,lol they are retarded. But they did not move through the night at all

Yes. I have 2. A wyze for me to see everything and a ring to get notifications on anything that happens there. Have no use for them inside,

Michelle both run on wi-fi. Ring is the battery cam but the wyze needs electricity. I had a linksys wi-fi extender through out the house and my wi-fi goes everywhere. I thought it would not reach back there but it does. Sometimes my rings tells me that the connection poor but still works. Last year for prime day bought 14 wyze new cameras thinking they were battery operated but they were not. So I use them around the house. I can get the sd card for them but I have not. I am thinking that Blink would be a better option, since they are good for outdoors. That way in the winter I still have protection. But still thinking about it. Still have electronics that had not opened yet. Lord help me for this year Prime day is June 21-22

Question... Rose is so big that she has become an abuser to everyone. She runs and barely lets the others eat. She eats like food was to end or she has been starving. What should I do? Seems like she wants to play but she is scary big.

Multiple feed and water stations, placed as far part as possible with some visual barriers between them.
Do they have feed available at all times they are awake?

I got my brooder about 90% set up, in preparation for chicks on Saturday. I use an extra large dog crate and line it with cardboard so the itty bitties can't get out between the bars.

Last time I just had pine shavings on the the bottom tray. Do any of you put a towel down first? Does anyone use newspaper, or paper towel?

I am so looking forward to soft animal noises in the house. And cute soft animals too.

I use paper towels over PDZ, changing them out every couple days.
Have a tote lid for feed and water, change that out too.
Then they go to the coop after a week, on shavings, but with a crate tray under heat pad and same tote lid for feed water.

I use puppy training pads for the first week or two, just roll them up and spread a new one when they get to dirty. Then graduate them to shavings.
