Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

The time has come! One of my two white Chantecler roosters, both hatched April 2020, has to move on. They are sparring, nothing serious (yet!) but issues will get worse, probably. Nice big boys, polite to humans, good with the hens and chicks, but evenly matched and one has to go. i would like to keep one of this year's cockerels, and one of the EE bantam cockerels.
Sadly, one of the EE bantams is developing into a second cockerel (it figures!) and also needs another home.
All Marek's vaccinated, hatched in April, from Cackle.
Let me know if interested. Pictures coming up.
@RaZ has a few of the Chanties from last year, how are they doing now?

Sorry @Folly's place , I have 4 BCM cockerels here that need to go, and the old flock cock.

Amazingly none of them are really fighting and not much mounting chaos.....
....and none of them are crowing at 14 weeks.

I did end up giving EL/Vit late yesterday afternoon....2 more 90°ers to get thru.

OMG! Need advise.
I found this guy last night as I was changing the temporary run of the girls to give them a bit more room and some shade. I thought he was just resting for the night and made nothing about it.

This morning left the girls out as usual and they are all over the rose bush, which I do not care for. However look what saw.

Should I be concerned? if so, what do I do with this girl? She is soon to begin laying because she dropped her soft eggs this morning.....

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the weekend and the heat. I am being miserable with the heat. I showed you before the steps that I began inside the coop for the girls. Well, yesterday and today, I took it apart and re-made it. Nothing fancy and still have to paint it but it is too hot outside and where I cut the wood was right under the sun.

So for the time being, since I do not have a run nor small door for them to go out, I put the old temporary roost they had even if it is blocking the door. The fan is also in there and it is on high.

For sure I need to put more sand in the coop but even in the plain linoleum, it is easy to clean. But I will put more.
Also I did another temporary fix because I have no clue. I figure it will have to be on the outside and having to put a frame, which I have no clue on how to, but will worry closer to winter. It can stay open for now until then. There is no way for me to close or open like this but as the heat arrises, predators get crazy and need to help my girls the best I can.

However, XH asked me, "What about if it rains? Good question. I guess that I will lean that outside umbrella against the window if it happens. Any suggestions on this?

By the way, Phoebe is no longer a sweetheart. She got her consequence for flying out. I cut part of one wing. She still can fly but not that high. She has become a rebel, And this morning Rachel gave me another egg. She was laying those tiny eggs every other or 2 days but it has been 3 days in a row that she lays before 9am. :love SHe is my big mamma!
your window looks like it opens from the top, less rain will come in there maybe you can figure out how to put a slanted board above the window. not good at drawing pics but if you have a triangle with the angle side holding the wood and the flatter edge on the wall that would help keep the rain out
