Fine flakes sifting down on the brisk N-NE wind. Looks like a good day to stay inside. The chickens think so! (Soooo glad we added onto the coop! Room for everyone, and their ego!)

At the rate it's snowing now, we should have 3-6" in a couple

Snowing, and windy, should continue into tomorrow morning. Icy decks too, under the snow.

It's a little more intense now. They were predicting it to start around 1 pm. It's 5:30 now.

We got bout 5" here.
Not looking forward to shoveling.

It didn't start snowing here until after 10 last night. Woke up to less than 1/2 inch. So much for the 5-7 they said was coming.

I have an entire flock of goldfinches on my window sill and jostling on the feeder. The males are getting brighter. I wonder when their mating season begins.
