Hub's colonoscopy:
Things are not bad, bad but not good either. They removed 2 whatever things and he has to repeat it in 6 months to make sure nothing was left and may grow again. Lord help me! Just the thought of going through this again is unbearable. He is such a baby and I have to keep an eye on everything he takes to make sure it is according to their list.
Funny:
On our way there, I received a call from AA to schedule a colonoscopy for me. I laughed and I said, sorry that you wasted your call. I already told the doctor that I was not having any of that done.
Sad:
Left 3 waterers for the duck on their side. Poor guys took it all. Have no clue at what time they ran out of water but this morning eventhough I did not wanted to get up, left them all out and they ran to the chickens waterer. Just put them all in because Ii am tired and with dizziness and short of breath since getting up at 733am. I will need to rehome some of my animals. I have no problems with the chickens, the ducks and the dog. However, anyone has any idea of where I can rehome the husband?


OK?!?!?!, Time for a late nap. Late dinner tonight but I am cooking and letting the animals back out and maybe work on the trench for the water to run out to the yard. Still need to look for a pond and any devices to make it easy to empty it. Hose can fill and I am ok with that.
Will put pictures later. Too tired to be long on the puter for now.

Finally got some pictures of my flock. They are 17 weeks old finally so we have the occasional egg check but assuming a few more weeks. Assuming these are all ladies but fascinating how they all mature at different speeds!!!! All are black Australorps born on the same day from a hatchery.

Forgot to get a picture of the sad compost piles! But I did see my little lemons growing and I was elated that my ginger actually sprouted!!!!

Haven’t had time for organic pest control aka bug / caterpillar or egg removal so had quite the buffet for the ladies!

@Sally PB , I'd love it if you actually weighed him, as I never got around to doing it! My bad, what can I say...
And having colonoscopies done is a pain (the prep, not the procedure with anesthesia) but so worth it! Dying because of colon cancer is miserable, and preventable, so never mind the prep, just do it!!!

Hello everyone. So busy this summer it's just flying by. Anyone still interested in some baby goats I have two left, Nigerian boy and girl. The mini-toggs found a new home together which was nice since they were both girl twins. Still have Dreams bag from CS here somewhere. Other than that...back to work!

@Sally PB is it time to plant the onions? Read it was time ti plant garlic,so I thought I should ask.

@uchytil well, you both have my number, so if it has not been returned it is not because of me. I go more than once to and through Dalton township.

The doctor called yesterday and they removed 2 large [polyps]hope I wrote it right.

I had a colonoscopy a few years ago and did not think either the prep or the scope were any big deal. You drink enough solution that you are not really hungry, but not so much that it is hard to take.

You plant garlic in the fall, and onions in the spring. I usually plant garlic up here in September.

I plant my garlic mid-October. The first year I had it, I planted it November 1, and it did fine. I plant the Egyptian Walking Onions about the same time.

Thank you. I need to go out later to see if I can find any to plant. Most places are done selling plants. SallyPB gave me some Egyptian onions and can't wait to plant them,lol

I got my planting garlic from a farmstand. The variety they had was Music, so that's what I plant. I figured if they grew it locally, it should do well here, and it does.

Buy a hardneck variety for our area. I don't have a picture, but the bulb will have a hard stalk in the middle of it. The stuff sold in the grocery store is usually a softneck variety, and it doesn't have that.
