Wow! I'll try to get a picture of my two when I tuck them in for the night. We've bought 28 pullets of different breeds and it seems every single one is a pullet. I'll be trying to sell a few.

If anyone is interested, I have a few point of lay pullets for sale. I bought a few too many chicks lol. I wonder how that happened? They are healthy and a couple of them have already laid their first egg. I bought them all from family farm and home. Up for grabs are 3 silver laced Wyandottes, 3 blue Plymouth rocks, 1 each of barred rocks, black Australorp and Easter egger. $15 each or the whole bunch for $90. Price negotiable. Most of the girls were nice enough to do a group photo without me asking them.

I've only had one aggressive roo, and he's gone ⚰️ . He attacked his own chicks.

Recently my chicken sitter said that Silas pecked his legs, hard, when he entered the coop, but it didn't hurt. Silas was serving notice that he would be protecting his hens and chicks. He doesn't peck me, nor does Zaccheus.

When they were feisty cockerels I just stood and watched their efforts. They gave up. I don't cuddle them, but I tell them what good boys they are, and offer them treats, occasionally. Silas eats his, Zack always tidbits them to his hens.

Zaccheus and Silas before I split the flock. No fights, Zack was Boss.
