Are Thanksgiving dinner was of course perfect. Except for a little bit of a pie failure with the cherry pie. So when I stopped at the store yesterday to pick up the ice cream that we forgot to get the pie, I also picked up something called Death by Chocolate in the bakery section of the deli. And that made all the difference.

My original plan was to travel home tomorrow, but plans change. I might just hang out down here for an extra day and let all that snow and all clear up.

Sooooo glad we're at home. I don't much like road trips to begin with. Add in a lot of traffic... even less. Toss in the weather and bad roads, and I feel a LOT of stress.

I've been home since I fetched Caleb, Wednesday afternoon. I will go out, eventually, but am not feeling the urge.

Tomorrow I will go to church, Caleb will just have to deal with being in his crate for three hours.

We're looking at more snow in West Michigan than in the UP for this upcoming storm... That's crazy!

I'm not sure what it is like in Grand Rapids, but here in the SW corner, we are buckling up. It's supposed to snow until 7 pm tomorrow and 8-14 inches. Looking at the extended forecast, the only day it doesn't snow is Tuesday

These guys are great! One of them lives in my town and is constantly posting pictures of the St Joeseph Lighthouse.
