Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I'm not sure what it is like in Grand Rapids, but here in the SW corner, we are buckling up. It's supposed to snow until 7 pm tomorrow and 8-14 inches. Looking at the extended forecast, the only day it doesn't snow is Tuesday 🫠
Stay safe and warm! Grand Rapids is looking at a pretty heavy dumping too. We'll see if the anti-weather bubble over my area holds up 😆

The Wood TV 8 team is pretty good too. That's who we watch. Their chief meteorologist, Ellen Bacca, is great at explaining technical things. She makes it really interesting and accessible.

We are in the 4-7 inch area, as of their forecast last night. That could have changed by now.

So far, we have gotten... about... wait for it...

less than half an inch of snow.

Of course, they predicted the worst part for overnight tonight. So it could still happen.
Same here, but it's supposed to start picking up around now, so we'll see what happens!

I went out and plowed around 2 pm .... probably 5 inches. Several more have fallen since. Supposed to stop tomorrow morning.
Silly neighbors have their cars in the way so I could only make one pass. I think it's been so long since we had more than a couple inches, they forgot I need room to maneuver...They will figure it out...or not 😂

We've gotten about 6 inches so far today. It's supposed to let up about 9 pm tomorrow night. It's been steady.
