Everyone okay? Power on? It's definitely winter!
Our birds have been inside for two days because the weather hasn't been very nice. Today I saw a wound on one of our pullets, the bird who was recently broody. Naturally, a 'keeper'! She's now separated and in view of the others, her own area, and Silvadene all over her injury. Eating and drinking, and obviously it's at least a couple of days old, hidden by feathers over her back.

Why not, right? Must get more Silvadene tomorrow, this is going to take a while to heal. I think (hope!) it happened when they were outside, a failed predator attack, and not a wound from our cockerel. If he did it, other birds will be injured when they are inside, and he'll be dinner.
