Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

They keep delaying the start of the storm. But they're still forecasting 6 to 9 in between now and the time the storm ends.

The Green arrow points to the edge of the tarp shed roof, which is 5+ ft off the ground. Piled up between it and the camper is all the snow I have roof raked off, and now have to climb up on top of to do any more roof raking. Then I also have to pull snow off that down to below the level of the roof. If you step off the beaten path anywhere in the yard, you sink into snow about 6 in above the knee. Plus there is more underneath your foot that has been compacted.

Ok, I'll stop complaining now. It could always be worse 🫣😂

Yeah, and from the look of it on the news, it was the heavy, wet kind. It'll freeze up again tonight, making everything worse.

They had footage of large pieces of ice falling off 30 story buildings, crashing onto the sidewalk/street below. That could kill you if it hit you, I'd think!

So. I've decided to buy an incubator and hatch my own eggs. Gamora's eggs. They are a beautiful deep green color and she is my Olive Egger, but no issues with laying (like a couple of my EEs do with their softshell nonsense and calcium deposits). And I don't like the personalities of my Wyandottes or my Ayam Cemani mixes.

Guess it's time to buy an incubator 🙈🙉🙊
