Good morning!
The kids that I watch have spread the fever to my son...
He is in good spirits so far and the medicine has taken the fever down a few degrees.

We are going to eat a good lunch and take a nice long nap... well, that is the plan anyway...

My hawked baby is doing good. Should I wash off the old TAO and apply new stuff, or should I leave it and just keep applying new layers. She does wipe most of it off on her own.
If I should wash it off... with what shall I wash it?

DH went to the Secretary of State Office yesterday to renew our vehicle tags. We pay the extra $10 for the recreation passport for free parking at all the state parks. There is this Park Perks program and they gave him a list of businesses in the 3 counties in my area who will give discounts if you show your vehicle registration with the recreation pass printed on it. There are things on it such as 10% off equipment rental at Alcona Canoes, 10% of lunch or dinner at an Alpena Big Boy, discounts at local stores, freebies, all sorts of things. Can someone from the Lansing area tell me when is a good time to visit the Brehnke Fish Ladder to see the salmon? We have been to the fish ladder during the late spring when we were visiting Old Town, but would really like to see it in action.

Crud, I just renewed mine a couple weeks ago and decided to not get the recreation passport as I was in a huge hurry and didn't have time to hear what all was included. I snoozed, I losed.

Awesome! WE get the park pass anyway, so good to know we can get free/discounted things back just from having it. Thanks for sharing. I have already shared this information with my friends on facebook as well.

Good morning Michigan, cool and showery here. Today is the Tractor Parade, over 800 antique tractors drive across the Mackinac Bridge from Mack City, they go by on the main street for hours - very neat.

DH, son and father all went and watched in Mackinaw. A couple people we know were driving theirs over. I guess they sent more through town this year than in the past. The favorite is tomorrow's semi parade. Maybe the only parade that you take winter coats, blankets and hearing protection!

Glad your injured bird is doing well! I'm home with a sick boy today too. I think he got it from his cousins who got sick just after they left here last Sunday... something is going around!

Sure. I will go and get a pic of the boy. I am partial to one already, so I will get a pic of the other boy. The one I am partial too is starting to look like my Mr. Fluffers, so maybe that's why I am more patial to him...

Mine has a fever, cough, and says his tummy is upset, but other than that he was running around the house as normal!

I am just glad he is not a miserable lump!
